expelled
In 1540, the Gauḍiyas (Bengalis) were expelled from the Śrī Nāthajī temple by followers of the Puṣṭimārga. In consolation Viṭṭhalanātha gave them the image of Madanmohan which they took to Vrindaban. To replace them Viṭṭhalanātha hired Sanchora Brahmins from Gujarat to perform the worship of Śrī Nāthajī.

7 Peetas / Detail
Shri Gusainji initiated seven Peeths (Houses, Seats) for each of his seven sons. Each son was given a Nidhi (means Wealth/Ocean) swaroop (central deity) for performing Sewa.There are 7 dwars means gadi or peeth, and all are present today also.
1 at Nathdwara, the tilkayatshri of Shrinathji temple,
2. also at Nathdwara the Vithalnathji's temple,
3. at Kankroli, the Dwarkanathji presently resides the vallabhkul at Baroda,
4. at Shrimad Gokul The Chaturthpeethadhishwar, at Gokul, resides at Gokul & Baroda
5. at Kamvan, the panchampeeth, resides here
6. at Surat, the Balkrishnaji, but most vallabhkul resides to baroda
7. also at Kamvan, the saptam peeth.
