King of Jagannath Questions SriValab
king of Jagannath Puri questioned Shri Vallabhacharya, “Who is the highest Deity? What is the main scripture as well as the most holy mantra? Finally, what is the most exalted work we can do?”
The bhakti master put these questions onto a piece of paper and placed them in the inner temple and closed the doors. He awaited the Lord’s response. When the temple opened, each question was percisely answered by Lord Jagannath in Sanskrit.
“Know that the Gita is the main scripture. Lord Krishna is the God of gods. His name is the highest mantra and no work surpasses His service.”

Navratna Stotra :: The Hymn of Nine Jewels
Chinta kapi na karya, niveditamabhihi kadapiti Bhagavanapi pushtistho, na karishyati loukikincha gatim ||1||
One who has dedicated one’s self to God should not have any anxiety about anything at any time. God, the embodiment of pushti (grace), will not condemn one to this-worldly existence.
Nivadana tu smartayam, sarvatha tadrashairganaihi Sarveswarashcha sarvatama, nijachataha karishyati ||2||
One should recall in all ways the dedication in the company of enlightened men. God is every one’s Iswar as well as every one’s soul. He will therefore do everything according to his own wish.
Sarvesham prabhusambandho, na pratyakamiti sthitihi Atonya viniyogapi, chinta ka svasya sopichet ||3||
The situation may be such that every one (in the family) has established a relationship not with God but somewhere else. Even then, why worry? Even if your own relationship is established elsewhere, why worry?
Agyanaathava gyanaate, krutematema nivedanam Yaihi Krshnasatkrutpranai, stesham ka paridevana ||4||
Those who have merged their souls into Krishna, whether they have performed the act of self-dedication to God consciously or unconsciously, why should they worry?
Tatha nivedana chinta, tyaagya shripurushottamaa Viniyogapi sa tyagya, samartho hi harihi svataha ||5||
In the same way, do no worry about whether Purushottam himself appropriates what we dedicate to Him. Because, he is by himself quite capable.
Loke svasthayam tatha vede, haristu na karishyati Pushtimargasthito yasmate, sakshinao bhavatakhilaha ||6||
God does not allow ease to be abeing involved in worldly and Vedic actions. Because, God is set on the page of grace. Be you all witnesses
Sevakrutirgururagnya, badhanam va harichhaya Attaha seva param chittam, vidhaya sthiyatam sukham ||7||
The Guru’s directive should prevail in performing seva. However, if some obstacle arises because of God’s wish, then you should remain happy by concentrating your mind in seva.
Chittodvagam vidhayapi, hariryadhyat karishyati Tathaiva tasya lileti, matva chintam dhrutam tyajete ||8||
Whatever God does even while creating trepidation in your mind, is also His lila (play) only. So thinking, you should expel anxieties with utmost swiftness.
Tasmaate sarvatemana nityam, Shri Krshnaha Sharanam maamaa Vadaadbhirevam satatam, sthayamityava mae matihi ||9||
So one should always go on chanting loudly the mantra “Shri Krishna Sharnam Mama” with the bhav (attitude) of Sarvaatma.

4 Elements of Nathji (Shree Swaminijis)
There are basically four Yuthas (Groups) of Shree Swaminijis of Shree
Krishna. The categorization is based on the divine attributes that
each Swaminiji have. The four groups According to Seniority are
1. Shree Radhikaji: Tamas bhav main (Mode of Ignorance)
2. Shree Chandravali: Rajas bhav main (Mode of Passion)
3. Shree Kumarikas: Satvik bhav main (Mode of Goodness)
4. Shree Yamunaji: Nirguna bhav main (Rest of above)
Note:
The Material World is Reflection of Spiritual World -
That is the Highest in Material World will be Lowest in
Spiritual World and Vice Versa

Pillars / Features of Pushtimarg
The three pillars of Pushtimarg are
1)Raag(Traditional Haveli Music),
2)Bhog(Pure Vegetarian Food Offerings excluding Onion,Garlic,Cabbage and Root Vegetables), and,
3)Vastra&Shringar(Dressing up the deity with beautiful clothes, headwear and jewellery adornments).
All the above three are included in the daily "seva"(ritual service) which all Pushtimarg following Vaishnavs offer their "Thakurji"(Personal Krishna Deity) and all have been traditionally prescribed by Goswami Shri Vitthalnathji also called Gusainji(Vallabhacharya's younger son) almost five hundred years ago.
Overview of Its Features
1. To understand Pushtibhakti better, let us now have an overview of its features :-
2. It is spontaneous, selfless & motiveless love for God.
3. It is based on pure love for God.
4. It is expressed only through service of God - "Seva".
5. It is love after realising God's true nature.
6. No caste, greed, color, sex or age becomes the criteria, the only criteria is God's Grace.
7. It does not know any boundaries, be it time, place or anything else.
8. It does not require a devotee to give up a householder's life. In fact, one can serve Him better, by being a householder. All the worldly desires are diverted towards God, they are then not required to be suppressed.
9. World is not looked down upon but is treated as God's creation and thus as real as God himself.
10. Shri Krishna is the supreme God, all the other deities reside in his form. Therefore total faith is placed in Shri Krishna alone.
11. The knowledge gained is not a means of liberation. Liberation is considered secondary to the enjoyment of God's bliss. Its aim is God's happiness. In the state of liberation the entity of devotee merges into God's blissful form, but in Bhakti (especially Pushti bhakti) devotee does not seek liberation but he enjoys God's bliss by participating in it as a separate divine entity.

ShikshaSloki - The Final Instruction
When members of his family assembled near him for his last darshan. When asked about his advice, Vallabhacharya scribbled three and a half Sanskrit verses in the sand by way of counsel. To complete this message Krishna Himself manifested visually on the spot and wrote in the form of a verse and a half. This collection of verses is known as ‘ShikshaSloki’ in Pushti Marg literature Which Translates as
“Listen to my last words. I foresee a time when you will forget God and become engrossed in worldly matters. It is likely that you will become slaves of your passions which will turn you away from the path of devotion. Instead of rendering service to God which is your primary duty, you will waste your time and energy in idle pursuits. But, if you follow my advice, God will not forget you. You should believe that Shri Krishna is our God and never weaken your faith in him and then he will surely protect you. You should regard him as the be-all and end-all of your life. Your ultimate good lies in serving him, which should be done with all your heart, mind and soul. Trust in his protection. Remember him always in all thoughts, words and deeds”.
Shri Krishna’s verses completing Mahaprabhuji’s message, “If you have faith in me, you will be under my care and protection and will not suffer failure of any sort. Be free from sorrows and anxieties concerning your future, for you are safe in my hands. You should love me with the love of Gopis. If you do so then you will surely secure liberation. That is the only means of union with Me, and by which you will regain your original divine nature. Do not give your thoughts to worldly matters. Be devoted to Me and render service to Me by all the means at your disposal”.

Vallabhakhyan / Audio / Lecture
9 Akhyans by the great Baal-Bhakta-Kavi Gopaldasji belonging to Pushti Marg, who was mute since birth. When Shri Gusaiji put his prasadi tambul in Gopaldasji's mouth, he immediately started speaking and sang Vallabhakhyan - the first words from his mouth. Vallabhakhyan is the leela of Bhagavan Shri Krishna and is sung addressing Shri Vitthalnath ji Gusaiji, son of Shri Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharyaj ji.

The Birth of Shri Vallabh
There is a very interesting tale connected to the birth of Shri Vallabhacharyaji. His parents were on their way to their native village from Banaras (Varanasi) when Shri Illamaji experienced labour pains in the forest of Champa (Champaranya). There she gave birth to Shri Vallabh. But both Shri Laxman Bhattji and Illamaji thought that the child was born dead and so they put him under a tree and advanced on their journey. At might Shri Thakurji gave a dream to Shri Illamaji that he himself was born as her child. On hearing this Shri Illamaji and Shri Laxman Bhattji rushed to the tree where they had placed Shri Vallabh. There they saw that Shri Vallabh was playing happily while a ring of fire had encircled him to protect him.As Shri Illamaji neared Shri Vallabh the ring automatically disappeared and she took Shri Vallabh into her lap.

Miracles
1. Once when Shri Vallabh went to Ujjain he stayed at the Ashram of sage Sandipani. The ashram was situated at a very barren area, there was not a single tree nearby. When Shri Vallabh was doing Sandhya-vandan a leaf from a peepal tree fell infront of him. Shri Vallabh inserted into the soil and poured some water and a miracle happened, instantly a large green peepal tree sprung from the ground! Shri Vallabh completed his Bhagvat parayan beneath this tree.
2. Once when Shri Vallabh went to Bahulavan the local Vrajwasis complained to him that the Muslim commander did now let them worship the idol of the cow Bahula arguing that he would allow them to worship it only if the stone idol ate grass. Shri Vallabh called the Muslim commander and infornt of him kept a small bunch of grass near the tail of the idol Bahula. To the astonishment of the commander the idol turned it's neck and ate the bunch!!On seeing this the commander apologised to Shri Vallabh and lifted the ban on the worship of the idol.
